Throughout my visual design coursework at the University of Florida, I have explored creative techniques using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Each project has helped me develop my skills in image editing, typography, composition, and visual communication. Explore some of my work below!
Project 1: Photoshop Activity: Layer Mask
For this Photoshop project, I practiced image masking and combining visual elements to create a new composition. I placed a colorful kingfisher against a dramatic cloudy sky, using masking techniques to blend the images together.
Project 2: Photoshop Activity: Duotone
In this Photoshop assignment, I explored the duotone technique by transforming a photograph into a composition using shades of pink. This project helped me understand how a limited color palette can change the mood of an image while maintaining its visual details.
Project 3: Photoshop Activity: Clipping Mask
For this Photoshop assignment, I explored clipping masks by combining colorful abstract artwork with typography featuring my name. Using masks, I revealed the artwork through the lettering while maintaining a clean white background. This project helped me practice non-destructive editing and creative image composition.
